I haven't heard anything for a while - I'm guessing he's waiting to see how Marty's car on eBay does tonight.

Note, IIRC, that car had a G28.03 when it was delivered. Not sure if if a proper G28.11 was put back in.

Sean is a VERY busy guy.....between work, family and racing it doesn't leave much time for much else...

Wow that car needs a lot of wallet-love.. reading the description, the bumpers aren't attached to the car, and will require modification to do so.. not to mention all the other bits that need attention like attaching a roof etc.

It seems a little odd that the cage and exhaust were done before getting the body together - is the owner a professional welder and thus felt more comfortable doing those bits?

I'm here. max bid on the other car was $ 1,525 I tried to place a higher bid but am computer challenged and messed it up. The reserve was not met in any event.
I'm trying to find some pictures of my street car to send to you.

84,000 928S 86.5, 5sp black, brown/tan interior. Garaged but is a driver, not a beauty queen. No rips in seats. Stock wheels.

Not sure I have the stones to trade.

James - Oooo, NC. That's a haul. Interesting, though... Are you sure you'd want to give up a nice driver for a summer car?

I am trying to rationalize this, but I do need at reliable daily driver and just lost our Volvo wagon.
The Porsche is temporarily my preferred kid-hauler over my little old pickup truck. So I would have to get that part figured out before moving the direction of a track car.

I don't really need a pickup truck and I don't drive often enough to need a Porsche for a daily driver. My wife's SUV would make a good tow vehicle - but I would have to leave something behind that she can tolerate driving,

I won't have this resolved anytime soon. I will say that I have wanted a track car for several years, though.
