Default 81 euro whats the correct part number for petrol pump.

just noticed a small noise from the injection pump at idle at the rear of the car.the car is still running perfect but i now don't trust it and i'm afraid its going to stop working at any time.i am going to remove the inspection cover tomorrow to get the part number of it,but want to be sure the one thats in it at the moment is the correct one for my model before i order a new one.also who does the cheapest bosch replacement and how much will i pay?could this noise be caused by anything else?..... mark.

I ended up buying an aftermarket one on ebay for about $70 that had the correct specs and works great. Gunar

My CIS car (system pressure=75psi)had an S4 (sys pressure=~40psi) numbered pump on it when I got it, worked fine. IMHO, any pump that fits, and is designed for injection, will work.

yes i know the usual noise, but this sounded like it was drawing some air as it was running.the sound wasnt constant.
