I have the Radian 65. Your solution is to pass the belts from the rear facing tunnel by the base. Its a royal PITA to do this as it will take all the length of the real belt, but guess what. The base is super tight and add the rear latch to the point in the trunk you have an immovable seat...

I have to say what i used to do many years ago, seems far safer. I found a seat that fit the rear seat cavity (this was the biggest challenge), and bolted one end of a ratchet trap to the outside lapbelt mount. Then wrapped it over the seat body armrest under the cover, down under and behind the seat, up the other side the same way, down again and attached to the inboard belt receiver. This held the seat so firmly that I was unable to make it move with my entire body weight wrenching on it. The key was finding a seat that planted firmly on the floor of the seat cavity, and the seatback.

I like the sound of the Heinrich's "ratchet strap" method. Maybe add some kind of bomb proof quick release on each end so the bolted in part remains attached to the car and the part of the strap going up, over, behind, up, and back down can come out with the child seat.

As for finding a seat that will fit in the rear seat (narrow enough??) I found this Recaro child seat while searching Amazon. The reviews are good. Price seems very reasonable. One person returned theirs because it was too narrow...which may actually be a "good thing" for the rear seat of a 928. Hope I'm not breaking a rule by posting this Amazon link...Just wanted to share a seat option. I'm hoping someone has some experience with this seat in their 928.

Cosmo-

One question, and I know this is a major rookie question. When you do the shock bolts, it is just as easy and undoing them and then rebolting with the latch attached? Basically I'm asking if I need to get under the car to make sure I don't screw something up with the shocks. I know I can probably find a tutorial on replacing the shocks,b ut thought you might be able to answer quickly.

The rear shock mounting bolts are captive - so you can undo the nuts inside the hatch without any need to go under the car.

The Tattle Tale by Lenox was the best for me, as it tucks into the deep seat and the strap is long enough to direct clip to the real tie down points.

From my old post, my tether anchors did arrive from Australia. So they will ship to the US. Shipping for four of them to the US was $15.70. Total cost on all four was $55.70 shipped. If you had problems the first time you may want to reorder. Sue Wicks is the CEO at Kid Safe and she was really helpful when ordering. Her email is sue@kidsafewa.com.au if you need to reach her directly.

I ordered 2 extras when I did my install. I may be able to dig them up (its been a while). If i can find them I'll post them for sale.
