Well, if you are going to be "outed" as a 944 guy, that would be the one to be associated with. Nice!

What is a 944? Is that the fat version of the 924?

Sorry, poor choice of words. I was referring to this uber-rare piece of Porsche motorsports history, nestled in the wayback of his shop forever, finally 'getting out' and receiving some recognition in Porsche circles. Those who know Greg only by his work on 928s may not realize his experience and connections with Porsche Motorsports NA.

I checked out the thread on the 944 GTR. Some pics there. Those cars look driven hard and abused. The one in Greg's shop has lived a life similar to the Bubble Boy, literally.

I remember this car......it was in a "bubble" at Gregs shop.....the same type of bubble that the $100k restoration 356's live in when they are not at a show....... I think it was white, but maybe that was just primer

Finally got around to shooting some pics at Greg's, post- Rennsport Reunion IV. Check out the attention to detail on every last piece of this thing, the workmanship is just sick....

Thank you Rob!

Wouldn't it be cool to have a 928 racer done up like this...
