Even though the car is wrinkled, it is still really great to just sit in it and see what a brand new 928 was like 30+ years ago. No fading colors, no crispy sun baked plastic, brand new carpets that are still fluffy. The dash does not have even the tiniest of cracks, not even at the defroster vents. The glove box door actually fits the opening!

Mocha is a really cool color when you see it as it was intended. Almost black in certain light conditions.

Is the interior all leather or all vinyl? Looks vinyl in the pics with no leather coverings.

With that wrinkle in the frame at the top of the shock/strut thingie, what would the fix be, cut the frame just forward of the egg crate and weld in a good replacement?

My worry is that storage does it no good, so I hope it gets saved soon.

Correct, the entire interior appears to be vinyl or fabric.

My plan was to pull the engine and then go back to the frame machine to bring all of the dimensions into spec. At that point, I would cut off a clip from the driver side firewall around to the pass.side inner fender. I bought a donor car to harvest the clip from. It will also be sold, as I won't have any use for it when this car goes.

All that aside, the interior and a few other parts are worth the asking price to the right 928 owner.

Here is the scoop on the alternator mount......the damage was limited to the alternator itself, the mounting ears snapped off. No damage to the block other than the bumped pan. Lucky break

I'll let the new owner chime in with the plans for the car but there is a check on the way to Wilbraham and a bill of sale on the way to Texas

There goes my last chance to own a perfect pasha interiored 928
