Does Synthethic Oil run Cooler than Dino?

Not sure if one type will cool better than another.
But as far as which is better for your engine, here is an experience that I was witness to.
Freind of mine changed his oil pan gasket.
While it was out, the oil pan was spotlessly cleaned, as was the oil pickup, etc.
Royal Purple went into the engine.
Gasket leaked.
1000 miles later, the Oil pan came down again to replace the gasket. with the "red" one.
Much to our surprise, we found in the bottom of the oil pan, a bit more sludge from the engine (about 3oz. or so).
IMHO, Synthetic will not only keep the oil passages, etc., cleaner, but seems to remove sludge built up over the years as well.
