Tensioner Oil?

If you refill with the STP it will take a long time for it to leak out and they all leak
I use a visene bottle with the tip drilled out ,
this makes it less likely to blow the inner clamp ring off the boot due to overpressuring the tensioner.

Hi Dictys,
If you do this job yourself don't forget you'll need to set the cam timing too. I used Porken's 32Vr tool - much easier than trying to use a dial gauge. I'd go as far as saying it is a must (along with a belt tensioner tool)
(I used to live in Dubai and one day spoke to a young guy and his partner at a fuel station en route to Oman - in a slate grey non-sunroof S4. I wonder if that was you and / or your car)

Dave, I suspect that was the previous owner as I have had the car for about 18 months now and I know he did a few trips to Oman in it. When I purchased the car it was very neglected but the only non sunroof car available so it was that or no 928 as I don't comfortably fit in a sunroof car.
I will be doing the job myself due to I have lost faith in any of the garages out here, just waiting for some parts.
