Greg Nettles , Paul, Ernie, and I are going to get together on October 29th to make a run up into the mountains on North Georgia for a Fall colors mountain run. Anybody who wants to run with us is welcome to come. We will make a day of it, and we will eat some great backwoods BBQ along the way. Greg and I will finally get to see whether a 5-speed or an automatic is faster in the quarter mile but of course I know the answer to that one. Sorry Greg.

It's starting to come together now. I have invited some North Atlanta Porsche guys not on this site, and Greg is going to get some of his Corvette buddies to join in. It's going to be a blast!

I'd love to join in, the last "run" I did was the BRP from SITM to Balsam, it was great!
Only need to fix the shifter bushings, and then I'm ready. Red is faster, BTW.

Tom, before I sell the game plan to the enemy, (that is what Paul calls the Corvette guys) I need to know where the meeting place is and what time are we going to gather, how long the meet and greet gathering will be, what the routes are, how are we going to handle that? IE will every one leave at once, or several groups going in one direction, or split routes so we can wave at each other going different directions.

Need more info man.

(PS, setting one up is not easy, that is why I dropped all this in your lap )

I have posted the word over at the Corvette Forum, maybe a few will show up.

And if any one has a extra set of doors, I suspect that Tom will be needing a set.
