Okay Greg, I am ready to leave a little white paint on you rear bumper, or maybe you want to chill with the Sunday drivers and leaf lookers in the back of the pack. lol

Mike if you bring that beast with you, then you can lead the pack. We would prefer faster cars at the front. We will go up 400 out of Atlanta, then 180 coming out of Suches. Greg knows the route better than me, but it is one hell of a workout, and a ton of fun.

If you guys need a shake-down run (& parts)... there is a low-key GTG at 928 Specialists the weekend of October 15 & 16. See the thread near the top of the forum page...

Couch? Sheeeet, it's a reclining office chair!
I'm actually having some disturbing slushbox noises right now... hoping to have them sorted out by the end of the month! I've been told it's still okay to drive -just annoying.

Hey Tom!
I'll be attending a wedding that weekend, so that won't be a possibility. I'm just glad it's not my own!
But if any of your caravan needs some parts or consulting with DR or just want to put some more mountain miles on their 928... come up next weekend!
Be safe my friends!

Tom,
Would love to make the GA Run, there are some great roads north of Atlanta. There is an 80% chance I am going to Myrtle that weekend(family trip), if not we may try to meet you guys somewhere.
I keep forgetting to ask..what year is the Sutphen?
Cheers,
Dave

Hi Dave,
It would be a real pleasure if you could make it, but we totally understand the family trips. I never got the opportunity to thank you for the cookout at your place after SITM. It was real nice meeting you and Jeannie, and to thank you for all that you do for the 928 community. I do hope that we can all meet up somewhere in the mountains and maybe pick up some parts or just talk 928s.
The Sutphen is a 1981, 30-foot Ocean Pacer that has been restored with twin 502s and about 1100 horsepower. It will go about 75 MPH. Since I moved to Atlanta from Florida, I don't get much seat time as I usually only take it out in the ocean, but hopefully I won't have to sell it due to no where to run it up here.
Take care,
Tom
