Aero Mirror paint
Took my car out for a stress relief run yesterday and a gravel truck in the opposite direction bounced a rock at me which hit DS aero mirror taking a chunk of paint off.
Would like to do a quick repair for the remainder of the driving season followed by a correct repair this winter.....appreciate suggestions

Not sure they make it in your particular color but, SEM trim paint holds up well to the pelting that mirrors, trim, grills, and the like take.

Touch up paint at Canadian Tire. Get the Univeral Black by Dupli Color with the brush. It's a prefect match, I've used it on my borther's black S4. Follow the instructions, found al over hte net, and you can get a prefect fix without respraying it.

Malcolm,
I have some Porsche black touch up (for the 911 targa) so if you are in the Calgary area, drop by and grab it. Should cover the chips fine.
I also had some touchup done by EuroCraft here in Calgary on the black Targa ... did an excellent job (deep paint chips on the front bumper and on the hood). Cannot tell there ever were chips. Just a thought when you want to get the mirror done during the winter (no affiliation with Eurocraft - just sharing experience)
Cheers

Langka has had good reviews in the past. I haven't used it personally, but maybe someone will chime in. Someone was "kind" enough to remove a half-dollar size chip of paint from my driver's fender. I don't know how they managed it without denting the panel, but at least that is something. I guess they must have grazed it with something big and metal. My guess is langka isn't going to be enough to fix that one though...
