these are for early 16 V engines say 80 to 84oil drain back tube,

of course you need the oil pan to match
the later pans had this hole cast over .

Stirling,
Since your pan doesn't have that port - why not just drill and tap it for a standard fitting and go with new tube to whatever filler/provent etc you plan to have...?

I'm actually having that done to mine right now as a new filler port - (Provent breather from the stock filler makes that such a pain to use...)

This was used up to 87, my early 87 has the pan with a block off plate.

Why not get the early pan with the different oil pickup, will still need the tube.
