Default Water Pump Question

Have heard mention of a Laso pump. Major difference between the standard issue from the 3 ?

All I sell is the Laso pump - $285 - and the occasional Porsche pump for $1000.

I have a Gen 2 Laso (metal impeller) and still going fine after 2 (3?) years. The second version has an additional bushing on the shaft to keep the impeller from migrating off the shaft (and churing into the block). Gen 3 is the current one Roger sells and sports a plastic impeller that won't chew up your block.

Thanks very much for the reply. I have 36 k until the next change, and I am always interested in learning all I can.

Well, you'll be in the 'hood when you do the intake refresh, to do the WP/RB refresh as well.

Already had it off. All vacuum lines, crank breathers hoses, Knocks, injectors (cleaned) were done.
