Default 928s on Craigslist - Universal Search

I know many here have used Jaxed to keep an eye on 928s coming for sale across the country. Here's the bad news from their website:
http://www.jaxed.com/cgi-bin/show.cg...20110826202627
The jaXed Mash has been presented with a "CEASE AND DESIST UNLAWFUL MISUSE OF CRAIGSLIST" from attorneys representing Craigslist. In the C&D, The jaXed Mash was cited for violating the Craigslist Terms of Use. Cragislist has demanded that The jaXed Mash remove all Craigslist listing titles, and cease to index Craigslist listings in the future.
Here's another option as a possible replacement. Not nearly as handy as the Jaxed mashup, but its a little nicer than some of the other options I've seen to date.

Looks like they beat me too it. Good to see the other options.

I use Crazedlist.org to generate an OPML file of rss feeds directly to each CL site, and then use a good feed reader like Shrook on my Mac to read the listings.

Thanks. Built it myself. Had to sell it moving to Texas, long story there.

(editted because I see it was discussed in the other thread)

I used a very simple google search option when looking for my car... Not sure that it is perfect, but...

Try adding:

site:craigslist.org

to the end of your search string in google and then use the advanced search options to get only the latest posts...

^^
Not a bad approach, NCGrowler.

Might be a slight lag until an ad's metadata gets churned thru Googlie's search.

That's ok.. While hunting sharks, I chum the water often and keep my eyes open at all times!

Search, and search again an hour later!

Right on!

My Number One was listed on CL for 4 hours before I snagged it.

Just need to make a minor tweak to your browser setting. Instructions are included.
