Last OCIC, I stayed a couple of extra days - Roger's bank balance flourished!

Then there was a debacle at the airport with a cancelled flight, and AA lost all my luggage on the way home - clothes, netbook, souvenirs, and $$$$s of 928 parts lost in transit.

Clearing customs wasn't as easy as I thought it would be - having no luggage apparently makes them suspicious of you, even when it isn't your fault.

Everything turned up a week later, obviously having been opened and meticulously searched - I guess an x-ray can't show the difference between four Boge shocks for a 928 and four pipe-bombs.

Paul,
We have a group of 11 cars so far leaving from the Denver area on Thursday, July 12, if you would like to join us, you are most welcome to join us. We also will have several from the west coast that should be making their way through Denver and joining the caravan.

Time for a "sticky" maybe? Also was looking for the event schedule "link?".

Thanks,

Dave K

Right now, I dont have any confirmed passengers..not sure if I'd make the trip solo or not..I cant afford the time off work to drive it and "do it right" but the solo flight cost...'taint cheap either.

Sendo: Any additional thoughts on this trip?

And..anyone else in CA, gotta seat open...

Jim,

Of course you can join us! As we get closer to the date I'll have more specific information for everyone so that we can caravan out to Wichita together.

Well, I just tried to, only single rooms left.

Im shifting jobs here in the next few weeks, putting OCIC on the "Oh ya, I have a vaca planned..." list.

I'll split a room if anyone has a space left as well, or I'll keep my single room.
Expect that I will be there.

Beside booking a room through the link, is there anything else one needs to do to 'register' for the event?

The web site is complete once we sort the payment links. Hopefully today or tomorrow.
Over 50 rooms now booked for Friday and Saturday and I will talk to them tomorrow about releasing more doubles.
Plenty of rooms booked for Thursday and Sunday as well.
This is going to be a big one.
