This thread reminded me I need to change the batteries in the key head..
I think they’ve been in the key since I posted last on this thread….

I wish I could say yes, but I think these watch batteries have a shelf life even if you don't use them..

The part number 944 538 041 01 is available in UK for £38 / £40 ( 50$ US)
serous money for a key fob, but.... my old one was missing Porsche crest, bulb, battery, button etc, so this is a nice upgrade.
thanks for link / info on removing key.
