My blue Strosek -87 have the original headlights with much better illumination. The small headlights on the red Strosek Ultra is low beam only. Had to convert the small front headlight to HID Xenon lights in order to get an acceptable main beam.

The black Koenig is a very nice car indeed. The mileage should not be a problem if the car has been serviced well.

Ake: Thanks for the Kercher website link, I think the wheels resemble KT2 Wheels, I also like the original headlights better on the strosek design. Bill

I like the later Strosek cars over the Konig. Konig has little too much going on for my taste. Stroseks' lines are more like a GTS on steroids, keeps the original look but enhanced.

My 928 cents worth.

Cheers

Still trying to identify who did the rear flares, side skirts on this one -and blended in the front and back covers to hide the trim strip, on my wife's 86 -- and coated the RH cup wheels!
- any thoughts:

the black strosek in Japan is very nice too, how much in USD is it? You should go for it raspberryroadster, if the car was maintained I wouldn't worry about the mileage.

my wife called yesterday & only got an answering machine, this is a small brokerage & they have followed tradition by shutting down for the mid week in august ( known as bon festival or o-bon, when you celebrate the departed, ie go to the graves with special lanterns & bring the "departed ones" back to the home shrines to spend a little family time together!).

will call next monday & get the info on the strosek. iits NOT hi mileage car (that was the koenig at 100,000km)....this matte black strosek has only
31,000 km, say 20,000mi. on the clock & was fully inspected mechanically less than 6 mos. ago. broker in his ad says all records held & zero incidence of repair so have to assume 1 owner car, with some investment (just in body coat alone!). i think the price of this strosek will be quite at a premium.
will post up as soon as (my wife) has touched bases with broker, cheers

The matte black Strosek Ultra is a very nice and rare car inspite I personally do not favour the matte color. 31,000 km (if true) is nothing, just broken in. If you like the car, go for it. When will another car of this magnitude be on the market? Best of luck to you.

RE this strosek (original post)
http://www.carsensor.net/usedcar/det...ml?TRCD=200002

the broker was back from o-bon holidays & my wife was able to get information on the phone:
-31,000km & they do have service records including last gov't inspection done last dec. (shak-ken) to confirm mileage
-will not discuss ownership history on the phone
-has been painted, it is not bodycoat. original color was black

BUT WOW price is jpy 4.6 million (US$61,000)!!

huge premium over 928 market....this 93 GTS has about 50,000km, full mechical inspection in feb., asking price jpy 2.1million

Nice car but $61,000 is too high, look for another Strosek unless you have money to burn!
