Boy, you guys are lucky to have such beautiful cars, your red strosek 928 is great, also love the 156GTA wagon, I thought it looked bigger than the small hatchback, your right it is very different, any photos available of the 156GTA sedan?
What kind of wheels & size are those on the red strosek?

Dan: thanks for the strosek ebay link, at around 3300 euros cost must be around 5K if you add the shipping costs to the USA. Then you have to add in the cost of installation & repaint, must be a 15-20K project!

...i tried to get a price from the broker in ota-ku, tokyo, between a combination of my bad japanese &
his absence of english it went nowhere. i'll get my wife (nihon-gin) to call in next day or 2 to see if he'll give asking price, what ownership history is available (assume 1 owner), what records of service he has. also try to determine whether thats a respray or bodycoat (think the latter).
actually after seeing better pics of the above posters gorgeous red strosek....front end treatment starting to grow on me....& that not quite
flat black looks evil indeed

THERE IS also 2 of these on the market Koenig widebody S4. At 1.7 million jpy this is the cheapest, but its relatively hi-miler (for japan) with 100,000 km. looks like running pretty fat rubber on BBS wheels.

In reply to 928man my red Strosek Ultra has wheels made by Kercher type KRS.
http://www.kerscher-tuning.de/raeder...p?lang=en&id=2
Front 9,5x17 offset 41mm. Rear 13x17 offset 22mm.
The tires are Pirelli. Front 245/40ZR17 Nero. Rear 335/35ZR17 Asimmetrico.

My blue -87 do have the same setup.

Wow, the Strosek looks (much) better with the original Headlights. At least, in my opinion ;-)

Agree.. the Strosek Ultra with the stock headlights is my favourite widebody 928.

Here's another of them that was for sale in Japan a couple of years ago.. I was tempted, but a breakdown of correct LHD/RHD conversion cost scared me off at the time.

Strosek is an ''aquired taste''. Kind of like the Flachbau (Flatnose - Slantnose) 911's. I like both.

The Strosek I prefer with ''all bells and whistles''.

My Strosek has the standard H4 928 lights. I wish the original owner opted for the full headlight convesion.

:-)
