Default Need Help with Color?

I got a buddy of mine in our neighborhood who has finally had enough of seeing me drive by in a 928 and has decided to pull the trigger on his own. Enclosed are a few pictures of the car and for the life of me I cannot think of the interior or exterior color on this 87 S4. Anyone know? Its a 87 S4 with only 29k on the clock. Looks beautiful in the pictures. I really like the color combo.

Nice grab. Saw the add. Wanted it . $17K. Grey with grey-green interior, cool score.
I thought Granite was Granite Green though- a pale green. I'm guessing Slate Grey ext.

Hey Jim,

No doubt he's bummed! They got him all hyped up and than backed out of the deal.

He is looking for a low mileage 928 I think he prefers silver or black as his first choice. He would also love a manual but will buy the right automatic if its mint with a good service history.

That interior looks like Classic Grey.

The green tinted windshield top strip is giving it a green cast.

A shame he missed it - that one looks like a 10 %er

Too dark to be classic grey. Carpet is probably linen. Classic grey would be closer to carpet color. Besides, classic grey became available in '91 MY.

I believe you on the MY start for Classic Grey, but that picture looks just like my interior, which is Classic Grey.

Not a very good picture.

It was at a dealership in Michigan. Seems odd that they would do that.

Clearly greygreen interior with Felsengrün, or granite green, exterior.

This is a green-ish grey; classic grey has a red-ish tint to it. Besides, classic grey wasn't even invented when this car was manufactured.

The only downside of greygreen is that you can no longer get replacement carpet for it. Unless someone found something recently... or you send the car to Porsche Classic for a complete restoration and convince them to draw from their secret stash.
