I wonder if the safest way to track a 928 is to find a different car to track?

Just to show you can't generalize, I had a Sharktuner on a stock 88 today that has been running regular (87) gas - part of my experimenting to see if this is OK. It knocked on hard acceleration. Not horrible. About 3 to 5 knocks were recorded with each WOT run, low in the RPM range, but it "knocked" the timing back quite a ways with the stock settings for retard per knock and retard recovery. When the gas gets low, we'll refill with premium and see if that helps. Anyway, I'm going to recheck my car and see if it still does not knock on 87 octane.
