Lol...mind my 928 is over 29 years old and no where near the showroom paint job but I took by boys to watch Captain American and I parked the car furtherest away from all others

My wife always jokes "park far enough?" when I feel it's safe enough to park! The other three cars we own do not get the same treatment (well maybe the 912e a little)

I had to install proximity / parking sensors on the front of my wifes 86, the speed bumps at her office get a bonus for ripping of the front spoiler!
Now she gets a beep when she is either 2 or so feet from the sidewalk/curb, or a big bump is in the path!

i was 17 when the 928 came out and you can buy a condo with that kind of money and said to myself "how can i ever going to own one when i can't even pay rent to my parents" now i will never sell mine because with the forum you can fix everything!

I should do that on my wife's Audi A8. she has pulled over parking curbs several times, and when backing up partially pulled the front bumper cover off. now i have it so screwed to the belly pan it takes me 15 min to get the pan off to change oil.

this is a great thread and great tribute to our sharks. I have had mine over 3 yrs. now that I have all of the more urgent maintenance up to date, driver her almost every day.

and yes, I always look back.
