Will someone please link a good pod removal writeup?
I am still having difficulty getting that center dash illumination bulb screwed in.
Thanks!

I found the early dash light fittings hard to get back in properly.....hard to get a grip on. In the end I used needle nosed pliers in the crescent shaped holes in the back to get some traction.

I wrapped the plastic fitting with 2-sided tape. That way I could stick it to my R middle fingertip to get it into the hole, and it helped get traction on my fingertips to rotate it. But not enough. I tried messing with the brass contacts, either opening them or closing them... still no luck.
I did manage to lacerate my other hand this time, though.

Fixed that #&%! connector!
The pod area comes apart pretty easily, actually. Should have done it 5 years ago.
Thanks Rennlist!
