Whatever, it looks fine, and I am one step closer to doing it on mine thanks to that. Mine is also (Maaco) schwarz/burgundy, unfortunately not original, but I like it (NOT the quality of the paint job, not Maaco's fault I know they are independents, job depends on the guy with the gun and the budget, yada yada). My "?" after 904 was simply because I don't know Porsche history that well. Yet.
