These are the photos of the car in question http://s10.photobucket.com/albums/a102/ww2aa/Gordak/s4/
Maybe you should talk to whoever did the PPI and get them to explain what is needed to resolve any issues. PPI for the car I bought was 3 pages long, and only a few inches of that cost serious money to fix, the rest wasn't too bad.

We were both cordial and professional, I think people's posts just see sawed a bit, as all things do in forums.
We found out exactly what it needed to be a near perfect machine, and the cost exceeds the enthusiasm, I understand perfectly.
I actually asked the mechanic and he said the car was pretty decent in his opinion.![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Panchosouth, I have no complaints, and I love meeting working with other porsche fans.
Hope you take me up and stop by if your ever in my area.

I did forget to mention that, The turn signals and parking lights, interior lights that I know of, all work. Im kinda puzzled by that. The seats need the buttons pushed really hard, I guess thats were "not working properly" can be argued into anything assuming it was brighter or quicker in 1987.

Like many have said most if not all on the list are non issues. It looks like a great example for the price. But like the OP said not doing your own work is killer.

Having driven the car, and seeing it 2 times, I can understand some of the PPI. The shock tower (I did not look in the hatch area, only the front) has me baffled a bit.
Sam has been, and continues to be, not only a heck of a nice guy (and great Porsche fan) but extremely honest about the car.
I've driven some crappier 928's (including the one I owned) that needed suspension work and shocks.
I've also driven some nicely sorted cars. Sam's was nicely sorted and the issues were the issues. But it drove smooth, fast and tracked absolutely perfectly. The ride was not jolting and it felt smooth and gave your **** the right feedback for the road. Trust me, northeast roads where I drove were nowhere near perfect. I know MX22 (Alexei) also felt it was a very good car for the money.
But like nearly every 928 on the road today-and especially off-they are going to need work of some sort.
Still easily worth the price of admission but I understand the timing concerns of the OP--all very valid!
