I need new lower ball joints for my 80 Euro-S, I'm guessing the housings are aluminum? Besides ordering new ball joints do I need to order anything else for this job? Eccentrics- what are they & do I need them for this job?

One of the old eccentrics is useable on the new joints. Also they specifiy new bottom shock mount plates for this upgrade, but the only difference is the studs are shorter. If you are happy to have the longer threads sticking down (might meet some road debris and get damaged), or able to cut the excess thread off, leaving the old shock mounts in place can save some time and $, not having to undo the bottom shock bolt etc.
There are several notes here about how to note the old alignment of the wheel BEFORE dismantling, and get it close to the same place when re-assembled, so it will drive well enough to get to an alignment place.
