Default Seatbelt Eyelet

Have any of you noticed the seatbelt cutting into the plastic trim ring that is in the B Pillar? Mine has cut through two in the last year.

Could this just be bad luck function of my height and the belt position? Any ideas on how to get this to stop?

I got the last one from Roger at 928srus It wasn't expensive or hard to do. Just wondering why it happens so quickly and no one talks about it.
