Ive never contributed to an oil thread before 
but I'll make an exception: Mobil 1 15w50.....change the oil and filter once a year then drive it like I stole it.
and I want to add to my post count as I havent wasted enough time

I've noticed with Mobil 15w-50 at track events my pressure is about 1.0 bar hot and I have to add a bit between sessions.
I've been using Shell Rotella 15w-40 dino oil and the pressure is about 2 hot and I don't have to add nearly as much between sessions. Tried Shell Rotella 5w-40 Syn with the same results.
Dino oil is fine, once a year change is fine (Unless you do more than 12k miles), I believe the factory manual said 12k miles on oil back in the '80's. Why do you think we have 2 gallons of oil in there.
