Only $100 BIN!

Surface Finish: aluminum

(I've actually been thinking of doing this for my track car to an old cracked pod I have.)

Should be free.

We've stripped one. Winter project will be covering it.

Chris - how difficult was it to separate the foam from the aluminum?

Easy.

Its a game trying to remove larger slabs vs just a pinch each time.

Took about 40 minutes and 2 12oz Coors.

The vinyl was a little tougher, prior to the foam, because it was a bit sharp.

Must have been to save all that weight. Or maybe it whistles a tune when the air flows through it.

Ken,
you can put a stock one in acid and after a few days all aluminium is gone! ;-)
It´s also safer in a race application without the stiffness.

Ah! Probably would have only taken one Guinness.

I'd like to see some progress pics of the refurb if you have any. Mine is a mess and a half and right now I have one of those cheesy covers on it.
