Default Digital Odometer Light Time Out Question

On the 928 Digital Dash, the Odometer display, Square Box, Trip Display seem to have a different Turn Off timer than interior lights. The interior lights shut off after 60 secs as expected. The Digital display eventually goes off on its own but I am not sure how long.

Does anyone know the Digital display timeout value for turning everything off? Is it purposely different than interior lights? Or is there a gremlin or relay I need to hunt down?

Thanks - I'm just a little paranoid because I've had a couple random and occasional dead battery events for no apparent reason.

Mine is the same and I am waiting for someone to answer as I would also like to know.

Mine will go out right away if I lock the doors with the key.

Same behavior on mine. Locking doors turns everything off immediately.

Also, noticed that windows go up and down while Digital display is on after interior lights timeout and go off. Looks like a feature but I'd like to know the time out value.

Will stay on for 4 minutes, or off immediately if central locks are engaged. In the Owner's Manual, page 42 on a 1990 GT.

Cheers!
