Looking at the ad, what area code is 443?? Unless thats a new one for Daytona Bch, I don't think I've ever seen that one before. Ad says the "seat recovered", but kinda looks like $30 wally world seat covers!

Now he says that the engine has been "rebuilt" I wonder why. I tried calling him and got a full voice mail message.

Googled the 443 area code, it is Maryland, but with cell phones, it doesn't mean a thing.

IE, it could be someone who moved from Maryland to Florida and kept their cell number, who knows. I know people who have moved away from Florida and kept their Florida cell phone number.

true, and with Vonage you can keep your phone number no matter where you are. I've been able to keep my same office phone & fax #s, although I've had three different locations around the city. As long as you have the internet you're good to go.

It would be interesting to hear from the owner of the car. IE, whats the deal? Whats the VIN, etc.

How low does the price have to go for it to become a parts car?

I spoke with the owner. The A/C doesn't work. The windows don't work. I let him think I was a noob for awhile and he kept telling my how the car sounds like an F1 car and drives like a Maserati etc. LOL The final straw was when he said that I could have no idea how it felt to drive this car. I said, "well, actually I have three of them". He said "You have three of them NOW?"

Well Shawn, comparing how nice you have gotten your cars compared to his, maybe none of us could have any idea how it feels to drive his car, and maybe we wouldn't want to either!

Thanks Mel.

I've actually called one of my fellow FL 928ers to go look at the car. He saves 928's that most don't think are worth it so I think it would be a great project for him and it would keep it from becoming a parts car. I'd take it on if I didn't already have more than I have space for.

Fun would be never to say a word on the phone and drive up in a NICE 928.
