I would at the minimum change the head gaskets before putting it in. If the coolant was completely drained and the engine sat dry for 8 years, it could have caused the soft sealing material on the head gasket to shrink.

Euro hybrid and a stock early 32v are going to be close to the same HP, more low end torque maybe on the 32v. Best choice for a boosted motor would depend on who's system you use, which motor that vendor has gotten to work best.

so, it turns out i got that 32v , the guy did not bat and eye at my offer, .... i prob should have started lower.... :-) so now i will have a spare motor chilling. already started my hybrid build. :-) pistons are sent to be cut, and euro heads are being worked on. weeeee!
