This morning, I saw a guards red S4 at Rennsport. I was in a hurry so I didn't look very closely.

Early this evening, I saw a S-model in what looked like Platinum Metallic. It was eastbound on the Creek Turnpike at Elm St. around 5:45pm CST. Good looking car.

I don't see 928s around here very often. Do either of these belong to anyone on the list?

I see lots of different 928s in for service at Dumonts in OKC, but rarely if ever see any of them driving around town.

In the last year I've seen a few around but none of the ones you've described. There's a white 85 euro the parks at a business on 61st around memorial, a black S4 turning onto south Peoria. There was burgundy S4 parked at a house near Lewis and 27th. And there's a black 86.5 that sets under a cover in the Sheridan 21st area.

I drive a Silver 85, but am on a motorcycle when weather permits. Haven't ever seen yours around town, but I'm in the mid town area and work at the airport, so my normal route probably doesn't cross yours.

i haven't see one single 928 this year around town.. last year i saw two..today i saw two other 944's while i was out running errands... in the 944.. i think that you don't notice other cars like yours until you have one of your own..and while i still remain without a 928 in my garage (soon to be remedied) i don't notice them out much..though i'm constantly looking for other Porsche cars on the road..

Other than while at a 928 gathering of some type I have not seen a 928 on the road in 15 or more years. And during that time I have lived in some large metro areas (San Diego, Washington D.C., San Francisco and now Phoenix). Of course during some of that time I lived in places where the potential for seeing a 928 was very low (Auckland NZ, Lihue, HI). Regardless, I am ever shocked that I don't see them anywhere.

Hi Simon - I haven't seen any of those in person, although I would add I've also seen a nice guards red 85 Euro 5spd for sale in south Tulsa recently. There's also what appears to be an OB or early S under a cover in a Jenks neighborhood.

Regarding that white 85 Euro you mentioned - if it has a brown interior, it's probably one I saw an ad for several years ago at small used car dealer over off Memorial around 46th. I don't remember the dealer name but they had a niche in selling nice Trans-Ams. I was tempted to go look at it as the pics appeared nice and they were only asking around $8K IIRC.

As to us not having crossed paths, I live in Jenks and work in Coweta so my daily commute is south of you. That, and I don't get the GT out that often.

Yeah I just missed you by, what, 6500 miles or so? Thanks again for helping me out with those Cup 2's. They turned out great!
