80's Car Phone left holes in the console

Default 80's Car Phone left holes in the console

I've got a leather console which is perfect except for a few unsightly 1/8" holes left over from the ubiquitous car phone install from when the car was new.

I replaced the console with a nice spare but it doesn't fit/match as well as my original one. I'm going back to the old one but wondered if there's a way to hide the holes, passenger side but quite noticable. Black leather. Any ideas?

IF the holes are there may as well add a cupholder and make them useful!

I've had a vinyl repairer do a totally invisible repair on the new black leather seats in my 82. There were two small defects/holes low down on the back panel which I noticed long after the seats were finished. I can't tell where the repair was done and the area is flexible and durable. He used normal vinyl welding techniques.

I've had good luck with Leatherique filler and leather dye - black is the easiest to match. I had some deep gouges in my passenger seat:

Dave, Thats the passenger side cupholder that holds the whiskey. Tend to drive faster when the wifee is lit up. T
