LOL...no they all have to duck for the photos...I guess they don't want mug shots as part of the pictures!
What color code is Rasberry? I can't find it on the '93 928 paint code options. Would it be a custom color?

Not weird at all.. Despite the country being a RHD country, most Japanese 928's are LHD, as are Ferrari's, Lambo's, Maserati's and any other exotic sports cars.
Its a cultural thing - there's a certain cachet that goes with having the car in its "original" spec as designed/built.
There are a very few RHD Japanese 928's - it was offered by the dealers there for those who wanted it. There are two Porsche country codes for Japan - C08 and C18 one is LHD one RHD spec.

Yes, flares were required. There had to be a certain distance the fender overhung the tyre.
The LHD was also there to show to everyone that you could afford an imported car.
Ended up being quite widespread, so that motorways had at least one toll both for LHD cars.

Yup, the flares were a Japanese DOT type of requirement, I think it was to do with water spray from the tires on wet roads.
Definitely a unique color, looks good on the car.
