Personally, I love the '85/86, but I'm biased, put Porkens upgrades on it and you have a snappy ride. The comments about the quality of pics and prep are well noted. Subject to PPI, I would say at least 9K. But I have said, these opinions are really pointless until someone puts cash on it.

PET shows heated sport seats but no LSD. It comes up with an error though says engine and transmission code not found?? Weird.

A agree with most here, a Mercedes dealer that can't take a proper picture? They look like they were taken by a 6 yr old! Purposely done to hide flaws. Probably needs all the necessary maintenance. If the mileage could be verified correct and all original paint in good shape I would say 8-9K, then DIY the mm, pan gasket timing belt etc. and have a nice original low mileage example.

I wonder what the reserve is ?? And openly stating that the car stalls when cold has to make you question what it needs.

be careful,
the jag i bought my wife was sold my a large ebay dealer...

they took photos to hide flaws, claimed PERFECT condition, etc...white background, etc.. same style of business.

I was lucky and got the car for enough below value that i could fix the issues and not be upside down... also she had to get her JAG before i could get my 928, so i was motivated to buy... BUT BE CAREFUL..

Now the dealer just needs to get paid.........that is becoming increasingly difficult on E-bay.

Spoke with dealer too. Didn't hear anyone say it was sold. That was just 30 minutes ago.

No service records, but dealer spoke with PO's mech. The TB/WP was replaced 6K miles ago, 7 years ago.

Subject: 1985 Porsch 928

Hi Frank. Sorry, but the 928 sold for $11,500.00. It was on E-Bay and was sold.

Thank you for the call.

Larry.

Based on the shill bidding alone, I'd be hard pressed to believe anything the dealer says. Sold, unsold, records, no records, runs well, doesn't run well, accurate odo, or not, whatever.

Seller just contacted me somehow directly to my email stating the reserve is 12500.

Shady dealings here
