PBJ! Actually, that's what it's called in MD. I remembered right when you left that in NC, it's PJC (Prayer for Judgment Continued). Mixed up my prayers. But both should be heard. May the force (but not the NC police force's representative in court) be with you.

Spoke to the atty today. Asked for PBJ and he corrected me and said I probably wanted the PJC, but then said not all states recognize it, but would look into it. Thanks again for the legal advice no matter how mis-guided it was.

They'd better reeeeee-cog-o-nize it in NC, as I've had a PJC/PBJ there. Wake County. 51 in a 35. In my old 944S. Tasty. You were in NC, right? Not TN? If this NC att'y doesn't know about PJCs, you need a new NC att'y. See State v. Griffin, 246 N.C. 680 (NC 1957) (discussing a judge's sentencing options after a plea is entered). It's basically entering a Nolo Contendere plea, which means you're not admitting guilt but you're admitting that the state has enough evidence to convict you. Confusing, right? Cuz it is!

Amyway, I've also seen attorneys file motions to dismiss once the "prayer" period is completed without a second infraction (which shouldn't be a problem for you given that you don't live there). If this dude balks at going this route, you should go another (unless he convincingly tells you that the judges in that jurisdiction don't go for that, no can do - Hall & Oats).

Hey Steve, thanks for the back up on PJCs! Glad I'm not going crazy... yet. I think. Anyway, yes, the drive over to the shop was great! Wife asked what my favorite part of the trip was... the roads! The people was a very close second, of course. Can't wait for next year. When does Logan get his own 928?

But wasn't the "certificate that red cars are faster" issued in Tennessee?
That was my recollection and that sure looks like a TN state trooper....
(Not that we would know, white cars aren't very fast...).

wow, 68 is a 45, and you have to go to court. Maybe you should drive over 100 and see if they even give chase........

If the Police would have been in the right spot we would have a answer to that question.
