it is alive IT IS ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well, just fired up the 928 after the WP/TB job.... it fired right up, idled like a champ. I also installed an X pipe..
I have a few questions.
first is about the timing belt light. i installed the porktensioner, so i am no longer using the tensioner warning light. My question is all i have to do is ground the timing light wire to get the light off.... correct?
next is the band clamp for the x pipe. The band calmp has two diameters. the larger is too large to tighten on the x pipe section.
how do i get this to seal the connection.. i am runnning xpipe, no cats at the momnet.

Three Wheelin'
Yard, can you post some audio of your new exhaust? Interested in the sound w/o the cats.
Thanks

Congrats on the fire up.
Yes, ground the tension sensor wiring and it will go away forever.
X-pipe, are you using cats? The 2.5 should clamps at the front of the cats, the 2.25s should be at the rear of the cats.
On Edit.

I've not fitted one w/o cats, what size clamps do you have?

i don't have the box, but it is a "step down" type with two diameters, it seems like the whole thing is one size too big.
as for the sound, it actually seems more quiet than the stock pipe... when i put my foot in it, it seems maybe a tad louder, but overall it seems more quiet... but it does sound different, more raspy i guess....
