Default Connector for Oil Level

While doing my oil pan gasket replacement the connector was totally brittle and fell apart. I got a new connector from 928 Intl and now the question iis "how to install it" as the head is bigger.
Any suggestions?
Where does that wire go? Can it be disconnected at that part and the connector cap slid from there.
Here is the connector I am talking about.

Can you post the Porsche part number for that new boot? I used a fuel pump rubber boot on mine....this thread shows how I installed it over the connector...

That's the same boot used for the oil pressure sender, so it's not the same as the original oil level sender. I would think its too short to work. Let us know how it fits.
