I don't know why I thought this car was a 5-speed. My apologies. I still think that most any car you find that has not had recent suspension work will feel like you are talking about.

If that car had new shocks and different brake pads, I'm sure thus thread would have turned into "Check out what I just bought!".

Not to mention newer wheels and tires which most go with.

No need to apologize. The suspension and brakes were in very good nick to be sure. Just a different tangible feeling.
