Divorce led to the parting of my 86 944 and 84 928s. That was tough to take (as was my X's divorce lawyer!).

That was relatively a long time ago. Seven years later and a lot of site-seeing online and classifieds I purchased another 928. Pick it up this Friday.

87
silver/black w/grey carpet
94k
Auto

Absolutely no body damage/dents. Very minor road rash front. Tiny star in windshield - at base, drivers side. Mirror control does not function. Drivers side front seat positioning switch not operable. No leaks. No cracks/rips in dash or leather.

Looks great.. congratulations! First things first. Check and release the flex plate immediately (for deflection/possible TBF issues). 2nd thing, water pump and timing belt, unless you have written proof of it being done by a qualified mechanic very very recently...

Nice.

Drive by the ex's place, drive across her lawn and flip her the bird.

Excellent advice. We think alike, Randy. My words usually come out differently, though.

Welcome back from the abyss, Pappy...and enjoy that Porsche....on or off the ex's lawn.

Will not be traversing any grass with this car. The ex is long forgotten.

I'll tell you, thank gosh for classic insurance! What a deal that is! Full coverage, State Farm - 200 bucks.

The interior of the car is very clean. The only thing that I could find was slightly warped rear interior quarters. My 84 they were bad too...

I think the only issue I will have driving the car back 400 miles to home will be the inability to adjust the seat up a little (higher in front). I'm all of 5'9" and 172 lbs. I need a little boost :P

Will update motor and interior pics this weekend (Friday pickup car - Friday late night, crash, in bed, due to severe tiredness)

At least you will be driving a nicer 928 than her divorce lawyer.
