If you can't find it at a news stand, can be ordered from Hemmings customer service department at 800-227-4373. Be sure to order the July edition of Sport & Exotic Car, as they have several publications.

For twice the money, you can get a year's subscription!

Gary-
Thanks for the heads up. NNJR lost our date this year due to a race scheduled that weekend. So I am looking for another venue to end the season. The Carolina region sounds like a perfect fit. maybe I will see you there.

Sorry for the off topic.

Rich,
Went to a car show tonight more of a local gathering a couple towns over. One guy was looking over my 928 and after talking to him for a few minutes, he said he has been reading up on them lately.I asked him what he was reading and he said it was the Hemmings Sport & Exotic Car July issue, looks like that article is getting well known for the 928's.

Super ... I'm pleased to hear that the good word is spreading. It takes an investment to keep these cars alive, an with more enthusiast interest more will live longer lives.

Thanks Rich - I actually prefer to drive it over the 84 Euro or the 86 - probably has something to do with knowing everything that has ever gone wrong, been fixed or needs to be maintained to keep it 'happy'. Other than the initial service visits when i bought it, this car has never been wrenched on by anyone but me.
Congrats on the article, very nice...
Regards
Neil

Finally remembered to stop at a book store to see if I could find a copy. At 1st I only saw the August edition that is already out. Then hidden on the back of a lower shelf they had a few copies of the July edition. Great pics of a stunning shark and a very positive article too!

Hemmings contacted me in March, said they'd seen my GTS on a website and asked if they could feature my GTS in their magazine. It took a bit of thinking, what website? Oh, the one that I put up after the 2000 928 Owners Club OCIC ... and promptly forgot about. Well, the photos are still out there in cyberspace and caught their eye.

At first I didn't know if it was a scam, but after getting the forms to sign my likeness, GTS title (no, not really) to Hemmings, I figured it was legit.

Jeff, the west cost associate editor is a very skilled photographer and knows much about cars in general, but wasn't too familiar with the 928. He liked the idea of featuring a ONE OWNER Porsche 928 GTS. I spent a lot of time filling him in on the facts and history of the car and sent him some background information so he could accurately tell the story.

I took my camera and snapped a few photos while Jeff was doing his magic.

I hope it is a nice article.
Hey Rich,
You certainly deserve the recognition My best to Betsy
