Or can do what my wife and I are contemplating... still deciding between
- Rasiing roof in garage to allow install of 4 post lif, park a car on top and underneath
or...
- Buy lot behind our house, make backyard bigger and build another garage on it...

Come on James...you know better than to call that one an OB.... old body style maybe... but not an old bugger (78/79 CIS 928's only) ...
aside from that minor point...does look nice..looks like no spoilers...even better

Tom, I am always shocked when I see a new house being built (and by new I mean anything in the last 20 years) that does not have AT LEAST a 3 car garage on it!
Bob, love how you fixed Tom's post! Agree totally...I planned ahead though as my garage is tall enough to stack six more 928's in it and there is enough room on the lot for two more HUGE garages (bigger than the current six car job!)
Finally - buy the lot behind for a bigger backyard and SUPER GARAGE! You will NEVER be unhappy that you have extra property! As my grandfather used to say, "land...they aren't making any more of it!"

I know I didn't start the abbreviation and that the person who did meant it as Old Bugger and specifically in reference to the 78/79 CIS cars but it fits SO NICELY as Original Body...and then applies all the way up to '82 non-S cars! Just such great logic there...as a person who has been paid quite a bit of money to communicate clearly and concisely over the last 23 years to us OB for Original Body style, just makes total sense! BTW, I was not the one that even changed it from Old Bugger to Original Body. I think I had first come here 4 years ago and saw OB and was like, "WHAT is an OB?" The person I asked (and I don't know who it was) said, "Oh that means Original Body..." Seemed perfectly logical to me back then so I hung on to it.

original body (too plain and un-"original" to be used to describe any 928) ..but as James aludes to...refers to the original unspoilered 928 look that started in 78..and ran up to 82 (non S model..eg. competition package)
85/86's are typically referred to as S3's
and I don't think any of these keep in mind the differences in the Euro Models... They have an "S" and S2 designation that refer to CIS euros (80 through 83)... and LH euros (84 through 86)....
