Does it run if you spray that "engine start stuff" in the intake?
Years ago, mine did and stopped when I stopped spraying.
That's when I bought a rebuilt fuel distributor.
Fixed it right up.

Thanks Dan !
Looks like air in fuel system. We loose all bolts from CIS an leaks lot of air.
Working rough now with fuel filter and acumulator bypassed.
Now I have to see why its working rough...
Thanks

Well after 12 hours struggling with fuel system, I learned a lesson: Fuel delivery is very crucial for this car. It's not 100% , it's running rough and some misfires, but the fuel system is now back to life.
I'm used with modern fuel injection systems and my friend is carburator specialist. None of this knowledge are useful for this car. It's a different animal.

Hi folks !
After some time with no news, here some pics of restoration progress.
I removed all old paint and put the car to bare metal. After that, a coat of adhesion promoter and some coats of primer.
The car is now all primed and waiting for some time to sanding and prepare to painting.

Wow! I've been following this post from afar (mostly because I have limited knowledge to give). When I saw the intial pics in the alley I would have bet anyone that this car would never run again, much less have come along this far, in a relatively short time... All I can cay is.... WOW!!! Keep at it - she's coming alive!!!

.did you use an adhesion promoter for aluminum?
If not then you should have zinc chromated the doors, hood and fenders,
otherwise your paint may come flaking off after a year or two.
Goodluck on your restoration

Ola, (hello) This is an awesome find. I hope you got it for a good price as it looks like it is a costly restoration.
But it is a clasic year and car very much worth the repairs. don't skip any repairs and you will have a great car.
BTW I am planing a trip to Rio area in June or July, where are you at?
