Default Anyone have a stock S4 rear muffler FS?

Maybe even someone in the bay area? Let me know, with your asking price plus shipping to san francisco. I absolutely do not care about condition, and I am looking to spend on the low end of the spectrum. TIA.

I guess a few of the S4 people have the stock muffler lying around their garage---I do too! It is corrosion-free from a pleasant California lifestyle.

Pcar/all:

I have Xpipe, large 89+ exhaust, and RMB.

Too loud.

Until I save up for the 3" single I want...I wanna can on the back.

Is the S4 -vs- GT muffler a huge difference? I could care less about HP, just gotta tone this down a nit.

87 and 88 RMB's are identical. I'd love to put an X on my '92 GTS some day...I think I would need some different cats for that though.

That is not a problem. You can get high flows for $50 at this one site I know of. You don't even have smog ***** out there to bitch at you for using them either.

I'm thinking about the Gibson 'CFT' muffler that has scoops that allow you to install it either direction to adjust the sound level. And to break up the 2200 rpm drone. It is (was?) part of Roger's cat-back exhaust system. They make a 2-in, 2-out version that comes in the 2.5" size I need.

Here are some photos....
