Ha ha ha ha ha... Calling Howard S... You didn't know just how powerful your '79 was did you?! LOL! That is so funny I almost fell out of my wheelchair. While I hate to be rude, that car is a sub $2k runner...BARELY! I think Howard sold it for right at $2k to get his '88 S4 (which is really a great car), that car is NOT NICE...

That much dhp. First you correct from whp (wheel horse power) to chp (crank horse power) then you correct from chp to dhp (dream horse power). whp to chp seems to be about 1.15 as I recall and chp to dhp seems to be about 2.

Damn, I never realized a tranny could up your HP. All along I was following the HP vs. Torque thread, the Twin screw thread, the rear turbo thread and all I needed to do was give a street walking tranny a ride and my sub 300HP ride would gain 200 horses.

guys...its got an almost new tranny increases HP by about 300! The bummer is the same tranny keeps hitting on the driver and all HIS friends....

At least he could have posted a pic of the engine. Maybe he has an ls6 in there or something?.
