True "sport seats" are fully manual
Those are very nice, but for that kind of coin, find some ratty ones and have Paul Champagne do his magic.

I think the sports seats fitted to 928's always have electric up/down, with manual fore-aft and recline. The controls on those are identical to the heated sport seats in our '93 GTS: two up/down rockers for the front and back, and a combi rocker-switch/dial for the heaters, and a blanking plate. (The switch bezel is the same as used in the 12-way heated seats).
The seat-cushion detailing on those is different than 928 seats, they don't have the "valleys".

The S4 seat tracks have raised places that mate into female valleys on the S4 body. The earlier cars don't have this, so the late seats are lifted off the early body.
It can be adapted by putting washers under the bolts.
But the problem that we've always glossed-over is that the seat is not locked into the base, and all force in an accident would transfer to the bolts in shear instead of stretch.
In the S4 application, the track the male / female mounting arrangement would apply stretch to the bolts as the seat tried to shift forward relative to the body.

These certainly appear to be 911 or 944/951/968 seats. They will fit a later model 928 perfectly, (I had a set of 911 sport seats in an '88 for a few months), but as Paul Champagne says "they aren't near the quality of 928 seats"!

Early seats have the seat belt attached to the chassis "TT tunnel", and at some point in the early 80's the attachment moved to the seat frame/mounting rails.
I put a set of ok 79 manual seats in my 85 Euro, and I still don't have the seat belts sorted out, but I did gain like 2" of headroom.

The listing says they are out of a Ruf 911.

You need not spend $2000+ for good quality 928 sport seats. They can be purchased for far less, one just has to be patient as they don't pop up for sale very often. Or, as others have said, buy some good frames and send 'em to Paul.

My original current seats are manual sport seats but need new leather. I have sheep skins on them now.
