Guys: Let's clarify that I was not involved in the organization of the event - that's Bill Ball's accomplishment, and he should get all the credit for it.
I only asked the leather guy to come, and volunteered to do the greeting and registration.

Guys, my bidding stupidity provides the prizes
The set of 4 axle boots are because I bought/won the wrong ones on eBay. As long as my "FrankinEight" is under transformation, I will always manage to buy a part I can't use.

What a great day! Thanks Bill for your efforts, food and cooking! Great to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones. So nice to be able to put some faces with the avatars on Rennlist.
Dave, your pictures are gorgeous. Are you planning to post some more? :-)
Thanks!
Rob

Bill thank you for once again putting on a fantastic SITP.
Nicole did a great job registering everyone and also providing some very nice raffle prizes ( I am enjoying my new book on "Porsche 928 by Brian Long") as did Roger @ 928'srus, Dr. Bob and Andre.
It is always nice to see the local crew and this year it was great to finally meet some of the great contributors to rennlist and the 928 community, Dr. Bob and Rob Edwards. Thank you again Dr. Bob for loaning Bill and myself the Sir Tool for my recent rear wheel bearing replacement ( Nicole is in line to use it next) and seeing Rob's amazing GTS with Greg Brown's recent addition of the head oiling return/ scavenging system was very impressive.
Rob gave a very informative tutorial which of course is now one of my fantasy additions to do right next to a Greg Brown stroker motor. As Rob jokingly said " I am not sure if it's a blessing or a curse living so close to Greg". Rob's car is also on my fantasy list, all of the things I dream of doing is on his car.
Good to see George's race car out and on the fun run getting a bit of a shake down for next weeks ORR. Also good to see another car I would love to have is Dennis's car and seeing him fill my rear view on the fun run is always good.
Looking forward to next year and/or a Norcal fun run this summer.

Thanks for the nice words Rob. I didn't want to take over the thread with pics(too late maybe?), if you click any one of those pics it will take you to the gallery where you can find the rest -- more details in my first post in the thread.

Thanks Bill for the wonderful day. My wife and I had a great time and it was very cool to see so many sharks in one place. This was my first time to Tilden Park; it is a very beautiful location for the event. It was fun to meet some of the 928 community and put some faces to the names here on Rennlist.

Hey, I thought I had them on Flickr, but I guess I removed them when I decided not to sell the car. The pics weren't very good anyway, since I took them with my cell phone. I have a better camera now, so will send you some high-res pics in a few days.
