Default ticking noise when hot

can anyone quickly tell me if i should worry. the ticking noise happens only when the engine ran for about an hour and increase with rpm?
lifters? injectors? Temp is fine, oil pressure is also fine at 5 cold and 2 when hot.
Thanks
Barry

So the ticking arises after the oil is good and hot, thus pressure is reduced?

Sounds like a lifter is ticking because of the lack of oil pressure needed to pump it up because it's plugged up inside.

What brand and weight of oil do you run, and how often do you change it?

A quart of ATF in the oil and putting about 500 miles on it works before changing it out again.

5-30 is too........ thin . try 15-50 or 20-50 , check out all the oil threads . with such thin oil you might be getting piston slap . or lifter tick .
