Default Radio supressor for '89

Hello friends.

I have a horrible noise in my stereo (like a turbo blowing), only when the motor is on. I have revised my installation and I do not found the radio supressor (behind and left the radio).

The red wire with permanent 12V has not voltage, the permanent 12 used for the radio came....from the cigarrete lighter!!!!.

The original wires for the radio.... come from ignition connector?. If the red wire has not voltage....it is possible to change the ignition switch?.

Somebody has a original supressor to sell me? or is there a aftermarket supressor that works like the original one?

Sorry for my english.

Thanks a lot

Plenty of after-market noise suppressors out there - around $20 US.

You might consider bringing your car to a better quality car audio shop and have them sort it out for you.
