ok, I give up. What's the reason Billsteins are so hard to get now? Why the shortage?

Just waiting for Bilstein to produce them - been on order since late last year and I have received about 20 failed delivery promises - latest promise now 6/10.

I have plenty of fronts just no rears.

Red Boge sports are probably more expensive than Koni's?

I have nothing used at this point (one set of Konis sold and waiting for pickup), and I have also tried to source new rear Bilsteins to no avail. My supplier had no idea of an ETA, so if you want 'em, get in line with Roger or go with Konis.

Additionally, I have driven a car with Konis/Eibachs, and I was really impressed with the stability while retaining very acceptable compliance. So if you need shocks, I wouldn't hesitate to pick up one of the last sets of Konis.

What are the fronts going for Roger.

Will I ruin the handling by going new fronts and waiting on the rears?

I wouldn't recommend it. Instead of feeling like a cutlass supreme all over, you are going to have a proper-handling car in the front and a cutlass in the back. Not a comfy moment when you hit a bump in the middle of a corner.

*heh*

I have -no- shocks in back..I can move this thing up and down 4" with one arm easy.

That would take quite a bump..although I am driving what feels like an old couch in the back, I cant say ive had any issues on the mountain roads at jail-time speed...just something I got used to (new front shocks BTW).

I certainly would not TRACK the car like this [again].

But..I push a lot less.

Sounds like Koni's are only real option.

I just figured the green shocks look a little dated.
