Default Anyone got an idea for a DIY cabin filter for early cars?

I had a quick look at my blower fan housing today to see if I can find a way to make a coarse cabin air filter.
At home I have few birches and other trees that leaves a lot of waste that gets blown into my car every time I start it after leaving it outside for a few hours.

So, have anyone been able to make a simple, coarse DIY filter for the cabin blower for the early car. I try to think of something myself, but maybe I wouldn't have to invent the wheel again, if someone already have a good idea.

I looked into it. Not an easy proposition.

Lots of good pics of the GTS filter.

I also had a look, very dusty on my farm and it would be a big help, but I couldn't see any ready solution. Hope someone here has some ideas!
